Studio Policy

  • At In Balance Pilates, we want every client to have the best and safest experience possible. Our stretch reformers are 18 inches longer than our standard reformers and are specifically intended for clients who are 6 feet tall or taller and larger exercisers.

    Policy:

    • Stretch reformers are reserved for clients who are 6 feet or taller and larger.

    • If a client who meets this height requirement arrives and needs the stretch reformer, any shorter client currently using it will be asked to switch to a standard reformer.

    • This applies even if you arrived first.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and cooperation in helping ensure all clients can enjoy a safe and effective workout.

  • At In Balance Pilates, we may cancel a class if there are 2 or fewer participants signed up. Cancellations can occur up to 2 hours before the class starts. If your class is canceled, you will receive a credit back to your account for future classes. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you soon!

  • Our cancellation policy for all our classes is 8 hours. This policy aims to provide ample time for waitlisted clients to secure a spot.

All cancellations must be done through your client app or website. We do not process cancellation via call, email or text.

  • Please carefully select your preferred location when booking your session. We have three convenient studios to choose from.

  • For the optimal class experience, studio doors will be locked 10 minutes after class begins. Arriving on time allows for a smoother class flow and minimizes disruption for both your instructor and fellow clients. We recommend arriving a few minutes early to ensure you're fully present and ready to enjoy a fantastic session.

    • Automatic Promotion: Clients on the waitlist will be automatically added to the class in the order they joined up to 1 hour before the session begins.

    • Cancellation Grace Period: Those promoted from the waitlist will have a 1-hour grace period to cancel without penalty if they cannot attend.

Don't let the waitlist discourage you! Our classes are in high demand because we excel at what we do. You are highly likely to secure a spot in class! Add your name to the waitlist. Once you are admitted, you will receive a notification and need to confirm your attendance.

  • At Pilates, please silence your phone and put it away to avoid distractions. Let's focus on deep breathing and movement without the interruption of technology.

  • Mothers are welcome to bring their children to the studio. We ask that children sit quietly on the bench and stay out of the way to maintain a peaceful environment for all. If a child becomes disruptive, please consider not bringing them. We support finding a balance between exercise and parenting. Thank you!

  • In our In Balance Pilates Group Classes, we encourage positive energy and occasional 'Woohs!' However, we ask that participants avoid excessive grunting, shouting, or heavy breathing to maintain a focused and harmonious environment conducive to achieving a state of flow and mindfulness. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

  • Let's remember to create a space for individuals to move, breathe, and connect with their inner selves. It's important to maintain a fragrance-free environment in order to enhance the overall experience for everyone and to avoid artificial fragrances. Our focus should be on fostering a refreshing and inviting atmosphere.
